Who Ate All Depay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Who Ate All Depay's Falco Pruischer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 28th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor-Egil Gjertsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Bernard Kolano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Who Ate All Depay's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernard Kolano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Falco Pruischer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Who Ate All Depay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
