Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Netto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ábel Varsányi. 10 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lupii Turbati the free kick. In the 10th minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lupii Turbati booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ábel Varsányi kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ionică Bălanescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Berganza scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ionică Bălanescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 33 minutes Lupii Turbati's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 37 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ábel Varsányi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Ionică Bălanescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ionică Bălanescu came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

Ionică Bălanescu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 51st minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. In the 55th minute Francisco Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lupii Turbati's Ciprian Zgabei was substituted for Gigi Kent. Lupii Turbati's Dinu Angheluță got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Berganza was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. Panama's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Tomas Berganza took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Ionică Bălanescu to make any attempt to save it. 82 minutes into the game, Ciprian Zgabei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Bălanescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Panama played a much better game than Lupii Turbati and deserved their victory. The Lupii Turbati players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
