The supporters of Venezuela booed when AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zühtü Onursev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corey Alonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Oğuz Riayet kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Yan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuz Riayet in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB the free kick. The supporters of AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Yan came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yan couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Corey Alonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corey Alonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB made a substitution. Joakim Damm replaced Ermegildo Oliverio. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Damian Argina was substituted for Yan. A collision led to AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Oğuz Riayet hit a great ball. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Lucas Blöcker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 73rd minute of play. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oğuz Riayet took the corner. The corner ended in Thomás de Mendonça almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjy Benton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes in the game, Oğuz Riayet fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Oğuz Riayet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Benjy Benton might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjy Benton ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
