Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adriano Ciaccia got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Kyle Davies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Coccia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 8 minutes, Adriano Ciaccia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Semantra AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Ciaccia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Bertie Johnson got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes, Carmine Demaria made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Semantra AC's Adriano Ciaccia. But to his dismay, Adriano Ciaccia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Eugenio Coccia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Davies in the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Adriano Ciaccia notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Ciaccia in the 45th minute of play. Semantra AC's Diego Dossena got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Curacao players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Semantra AC were winning 0-4.

Eugenio Coccia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanley Wallace, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Lochlan Newman's late challenge caught a Semantra AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lochlan Newman helped the player get up and apologised. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Ciaccia in the 56th minute. Adriano Ciaccia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Semantra AC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Rocco Owen fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curacao's protests and gave Rocco Owen a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Rocco Owen. Troy Kennedy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th match minute, Semantra AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Dossena to maneuver through the defense. If Adriano Ciaccia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Adriano Ciaccia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot.
