They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Adriano Ciaccia came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Barrett could save by the left post. 82 minutes into the game, Semantra AC's Adriano Ciaccia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 91st match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Troy Kennedy to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Ciaccia got free with Bruno Barrett in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Semantra AC played a much better game than Curacao and deserved their victory. The Curacao players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
