Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anfilogino Amicone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 35th minute of play. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gigel Bucur took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Gigel Bucur might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gigel Bucur ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Bucur in the 69th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, Yetkiner Şems notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Toronto Marlies FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
