In the 23rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Siwek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wawrzyniec Trac kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Powiśle Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tytus Niewiadomski to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Powiśle Warszawa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play forced Powiśle Warszawa's goalkeeper Boguslaw Siwek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Lorenzo Rocendo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Lorenzo Rocendo made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 55th minute of play forced Powiśle Warszawa's goalkeeper Boguslaw Siwek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wawrzyniec Trac during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Powiśle Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wawrzyniec Trac to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Peru booed when Powiśle Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Lato didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boguslaw Siwek. That made the score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. Gösta Ekgren got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ryan Giggs. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abay Uygun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. 89 minutes into the match, Antonio Tenorio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Boguslaw Siwek, 1-3. Lorenzo Rocendo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Powiśle Warszawa. In the 96th minute Lorenzo Rocendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
