Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Mota came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janusze's Bocho Bumbalov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Karol Serwacki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bocho Bumbalov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Janusze got a freekick which was hit by Karol Serwacki. Janusze's Julian Sitko was substituted for Sizwe Phakathi. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Janusze.
