To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 minutes MACAU. F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Milagros Fraga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anselmo Gama quite easily take care of the ball. Alberto Sobral made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Alberto Sobral got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aloísio Esteves. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Anselmo Gama successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jhonny Smart charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jhonny Smart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes MACAU. F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jhonny Smart. Anselmo Gama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 33rd minute of play. Anselmo Gama was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Cristiano Pelé tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute Antonio Tenorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Gama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Rafael Gallo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Anselmo Gama was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Peru fully deserved thier win.
