Robert Lundström hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Josef Bäck's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josef Bäck helped the player get up and apologised. Josef Bäck didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 14th minute. Mellansels stationsgäng's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Lars Tidén came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Samuel Hultman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mellansels stationsgäng the free kick. After 26 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Mellansels stationsgäng's Lars Tidén fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Hultman went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Hultman made a kick off. Tomas Illescas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 51st playminute. 62 minutes into the match, Lars Tidén notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 70 minutes into the match, Mellansels stationsgäng's goalkeeper Jörgen Sjöman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. When Josef Bäck came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Mellansels stationsgäng fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Bäck couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Samuel Hultman sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Robert Lundström made in the 78th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lars Tidén immediately put the ball in play. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jörgen Sjöman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Lars Tidén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Lars Tidén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mellansels stationsgäng had played much better football throughout.
