If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Calisto Flayre sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calisto Flayre in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, GREEN LIONS's Marcial Saez got a free kick in the 8th minute. Tolis Prinianakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that GREEN LIONS's Tolis Prinianakis managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, GREEN LIONS's Merexildo Raimundo got a free kick in the 13th minute. GREEN LIONS's Tolis Prinianakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in GREEN LIONS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tolis Prinianakis. 1-1. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After 25 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. 狄正希 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but 狄正希 slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 25th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolis Prinianakis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merexildo Raimundo in the 32nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GREEN LIONS's Tolis Prinianakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 袁棋荣, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tolis Prinianakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Tolis Prinianakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 44 minutes, 袁棋荣 made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 47 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. The wind increased when Calisto Flayre made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Calisto Flayre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 袁棋荣 in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Tolis Prinianakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 60th minute Calisto Flayre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, 袁棋荣 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 袁棋荣 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Tolis Prinianakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after GREEN LIONS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tolis Prinianakis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolis Prinianakis having to interfere. In the 71st minute Daniel Zorita suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ödön Grill during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Ödön Grill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luz Palacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolis Prinianakis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Calisto Flayre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Calisto Flayre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ödön Grill got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 88th minute, Ödön Grill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luz Palacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolis Prinianakis having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GREEN LIONS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ecuador had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
