After a rather tough play, Colombia's Pascual Carballar got a free kick in the 6th minute. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Pååk, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Amador Merexildo sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Topp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Schumacher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after FC Bullen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. Pascual Carballar was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 22 minutes into the match, FC Bullen's goalkeeper Toni Schumacher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toni Schumacher having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Toni Schumacher in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, FC Bullen's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Toni Schumacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Roland Topp made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 33rd minute, Amador Merexildo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 36 minutes into the match, FC Bullen's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Toni Schumacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Bullen's Toni Schumacher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 36th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Amador Merexildo put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Manzanares.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Toni Schumacher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute Richard Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toni Schumacher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When Abram Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Pååk in the 67th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Gustavo Lopes took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. FC Bullen's Andy Beckman was substituted for Gustavo Lopes. FC Bullen's Edvard Sandström was substituted for Gustav Helander. FC Bullen's Toni Schumacher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philip Drake got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toni Schumacher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Kevin Mastache blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toni Schumacher having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 93rd minute of play forced FC Bullen's goalkeeper Toni Schumacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toni Schumacher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Secada in the 96th minute of play. The FC Bullen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Bullen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
