An unexpectedly hard shot by Szymon Iwaszko in the 5th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiktor Juszkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 10th minute of the match. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tanek Siekierski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Szczepan Betonowy in the 42 minute of the game. In the 42nd match minute, FC LSG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Bucyki to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 93 played minutes FC LSG got a freekick which was hit by Szymon Iwaszko. FC LSG succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Honduras had controlled the match.
