Emotep SK's Fernanco Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. When Emotep SK's Brayden McPaul in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 22 minutes in the game, Brayden McPaul dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernanco Muslera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fernanco Muslera but with some difficulty. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brayden McPaul in the 34th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Brayden McPaul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. When Brayden McPaul came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Emotep SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brayden McPaul couldn't finish the play. If Ryan Giggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brayden McPaul in the 44th minute of play. Fernanco Muslera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute.

Fernanco Muslera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Emotep SK's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernanco Muslera came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brayden McPaul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Brayden McPaul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Giggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Emotep SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şeray Hepyener didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emotep SK's Sezen Erencan was substituted for Ali Atıf Rasi. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Fernanco Muslera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernanco Muslera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Emotep SK's goalkeeper Fernanco Muslera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ryan Giggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Emotep SK's Emrah Dönmez got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
