Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Sheep United's Erik Kolman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Aad van Zonderen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Kolman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Erik Kolman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bart van der Gouw's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bart van der Gouw helped the player get up and apologised. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Sheep United's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Kolman came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erik Kolman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Sheep United's Michael Mol got a free kick in the 57th minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Erik Kolman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aad van Zonderen got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, Sheep United's Aad van Zonderen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Erik Kolman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Douwe Gentenaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Guillermo Mariano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Bart van der Gouw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Kolman. Sheep United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sheep United's Erik Kolman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 93rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Kolman saved Sheep United from getting behind.
