Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Svensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Svensson in the 6th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th match minute, FC Snipers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Hedlund to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Olofsson in the 14th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 16th minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Olofsson in the 19th minute of play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Costa Rica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Snipers:s goal. The referee gave FC Snipers a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Göran Olofsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Arman Bremming notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arman Bremming went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 44th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Hedlund in the 44th minute of play. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Snipers were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Göran Olofsson made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Göran Olofsson in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute of the match Ivan Johansson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Göran Olofsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arman Bremming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Snipers booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göran Olofssons short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Snipers's Arman Bremming. But to his dismay, Arman Bremming quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arman Bremming in the 76th minute of play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Martin Hedlund sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Benito Sanz threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Martin Hedlund this time. Göran Olofsson in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the final whistle sounded FC Snipers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
