Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Kings's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Haşim Batüralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 12th minute of play forced Kings's goalkeeper Haşim Batüralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kings's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. In the 15th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haşim Batüralp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Peru's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Nojus Bikas scored to the left of an out of position Rolando Noboa, making the score, 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Milagros Fraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nojus Bikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Kings were awarded a corner. Victorino Marko went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Victorino Marko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nojus Bikas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Håkon Bjernemose hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of play forced Kings's goalkeeper Haşim Batüralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haşim Batüralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 40th minute of play. Nojus Bikas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Nojus Bikas made the kick off in the second half. Luís Figo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kings's Bob Grammet was substituted for Edgaras Jankauskas. 63 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Nojus Bikas came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Bob Grammet in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. With a little luck, Kings's Haşim Batüralp got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Kings's goalkeeper Haşim Batüralp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nojus Bikas in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haşim Batüralp. Kings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Haşim Batüralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rafael Gallo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Gallo couldn't finish the play. Bob Grammet made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
