Wang Cheng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The supporters of Panama booed when Gärsnäs BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dane Friebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Panama's Miguel Miralles got a free kick in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 15th minute of play forced Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Wang Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dane Friebe in the 18th minute of the match. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when George Hägglund sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Gärsnäs BF's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wang Cheng came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Hägglund in the 26th minute. Wang Cheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Frederick Griscti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, George Hägglund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 1-1. In the 36th minute, Gärsnäs BF's Frederick Griscti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Frederick Griscti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. In the 46th match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Hägglund to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
A collision led to Gärsnäs BF getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Frederick Griscti hit a great ball. Wang Cheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Wang Cheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wang Cheng having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Lang to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Wang Cheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute Frederick Griscti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Gärsnäs BF's Frederick Griscti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 79 minutes in the game, Tomas Berganza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wang Cheng having to interfere. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gärsnäs BF! Abraham Alguacil shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wang Cheng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Panama's Miguel Miralles got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 91 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wang Cheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Abraham Alguacil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Gärsnäs BF were victorious despite being under pressure from Panama for much of the match.
