In the 23rd minute, Serkan Günden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 乔义竞 in the 28th minute of play. Adriano Almeida made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. 43 minutes into the game, Adriano Almeida threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After the first half LA COSA NOSTRA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. Leal Valido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 55th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Serkan Günden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA COSA NOSTRA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Serkan Günden hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of LA COSA NOSTRA were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Honduras side.
