After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Simon Vester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Simon Vester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Chicote's late challenge caught a Shawshank Prisoners FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 34 minutes, Simon Vester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shawshank Prisoners FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Vester was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Martin Lagerberg made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 47 minutes into the game, Martin Lagerberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Lagerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Brian Persson kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Martin Lagerberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Camilo Freixa, 0-4. The supporters of Shawshank Prisoners FC booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Gallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Freixa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Lagerberg in the 73rd minute. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Rosen in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes in the game, Simon Vester fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. If Simon Vester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Lagerberg got free with Camilo Freixa in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mario Fernandino hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
