Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julian Murillo got the match started through his kick off. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gerardo McMillan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to FC Henter Somosd's Tamás Antal getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Tamás Antal scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Mees sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Mees in the 41st minute of play. Arnd Schade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Mees was the one to do the kick off. When Frank Mees came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Henter Somosd fans jumped to their feet. In the 95th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Gallo to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Peru had won after a very even match.
