Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Puerto de Sagunto CF's Matia Climent got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matia Climent's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Puerto de Sagunto CF's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Sebastián Puig came free, but Gong Yong Nan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Robin Ahlrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richmond Van Glabeeke in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play forced Puerto de Sagunto CF's goalkeeper Gong Yong Nan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Puerto de Sagunto CF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gong Yong Nan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 34 minutes Puerto de Sagunto CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Gong Yong Nan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tommy Galle was slow to take the kick. During this time Puerto de Sagunto CF's players had a chance to rest. Tommy Galle might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Galle ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute, Francisco José Millán left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puerto de Sagunto CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richmond Van Glabeeke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gong Yong Nan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute of play. Richmond Van Glabeeke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 56th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Puerto de Sagunto CF's Waclaw Czaplicki was substituted for Francisco José Millán. In the 58th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Puerto de Sagunto CF's Richmond Van Glabeeke. But to his dismay, Richmond Van Glabeeke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 72 minutes into the match, Puerto de Sagunto CF's goalkeeper Gong Yong Nan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After 82 played minutes Puerto de Sagunto CF got a freekick which was hit by Waclaw Czaplicki. Richmond Van Glabeeke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richmond Van Glabeeke in the 85th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Puerto de Sagunto CF's goalie prevented a goal.
