Panama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Remicio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Miralles in the 54th minute. With an all-out effort, Panama's Eduardo Remicio threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miguel Miralles, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Remicio having to interfere. New Iberia AFC's Roy Garrison got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Roy Garrison off the ground. A collision led to New Iberia AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Roy Garrison hit a great ball. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, New Iberia AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tomas Berganza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 78th minute of the match Panama got a corner. New Iberia AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Panama's Tomas Berganza getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 85 minutes of play, New Iberia AFC's Bruno Oskitz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glen Lefler in the 87th minute of the match. Felipe Coulter scored 3-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
