The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Ganga Banga scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, SS SuperSonics's Iwan Pilitowski got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute, Emanuel Ocampo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Panasewicz came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Korneliusz Panasewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Korneliusz Panasewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Honduras's Luca Espinar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iwan Pilitowski, made in the 55th minute of the game. After 64 played minutes SS SuperSonics got a freekick which was hit by Boguslaw Motowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 68th minute of play forced SS SuperSonics's goalkeeper Hugon Lenertej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Lenertej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugon Lenertej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 71st minute of play. After 73 minutes SS SuperSonics's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hugon Lenertej in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Villa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugon Lenertej was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After some careless play in the SS SuperSonics defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugon Lenertej. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Luca Espinar got a free kick in the 86th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Villa in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugon Lenertej saved SS SuperSonics from getting behind. There was no doubt that Honduras were the better team. Honduras's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
