Yan Chong Sen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joel Gaona showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Palloketut's Ali Ruohiainen tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Voitto Nyrhinen came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Chong Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Palloketut were awarded a corner. Ali Ruohiainen went to the cornerflag to take it. Facundo Cadaval tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Dante Lacasa. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-2 in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute Romelu Lukaku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heino Helkamo in the 41st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 45th minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yan Chong Sen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Yan Chong Sen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toni Fabich was the one to do the kick off. Voitto Nyrhinen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Voitto Nyrhinen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Voitto Nyrhinen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Palloketut's Yan Chong Sen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 53rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Lautaro Mancebo sped through Palloketut's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yan Chong Sen. 58 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Rikhard Elomo came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Palloketut's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Chong Sen came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Palloketut made a substitution. Marcus Hjelm replaced Doğuş Turabi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Fabich in the 63rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Fabich in the 72nd minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla scored 3-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yan Chong Sen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
