If Cemil Yesari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferit Balkoç's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Imran Jøttrup saved Ges FK from getting behind. In the 10th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Imran Jøttrup saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ges FK's Cemil Yesari in 12 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Joaquin Gayoso guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 20 minutes into the match, Ges FK's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Imran Jøttrup reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A throw-in in the 36th minute of the game was made by Yavuzalp Ünver with Amerigo Andreassi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferit Balkoç in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Imran Jøttrup prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The supporters of Ges FK booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Ges FK's goalkeeper Imran Jøttrup had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. In the 64th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Imran Jøttrup saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ges FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jaime Cazalla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Imran Jøttrup quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 81st minute, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Imran Jøttrup. Imran Jøttrup yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 88 played minutes Ges FK got a freekick which was hit by Saip Suat. If Ferit Balkoç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
