When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Zwi Gilgen took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a free kick in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Hubert Simpson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hubert Simpson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The throw-in from Kajetan Meibeck in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Thorsten Benscheider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 35th minute of play. When Moises Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Kajetan Meibeck made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Moises Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Thorsten Benscheider. FK Partizani Tirana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Hubert Simpson tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eicke Brocker to strike the kick off in the second half. Thorsten Benscheider was a little too slow when Sebastian Villa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 2-3. Sebastian Villa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Thorsten Benscheider made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Eicke Brocker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After having played for 72 minutes, Nico Zeitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Partizani Tirana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico Zeitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The FK Partizani Tirana fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
