Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Nico Zeitz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 8th minute, Zwi Gilgen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 minutes, Hubert Simpson made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thorsten Benscheider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 14th minute of the match. Nico Zeitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. Eicke Brocker did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Benito Sanz 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Nico Zeitz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 39 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eicke Brocker to make the kick off. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eicke Brocker in the 55th minute of play. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eicke Brocker's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Kajetan Meibeck charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kajetan Meibeck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thorsten Benscheider breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FK Partizani Tirana's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Axel Tasis scored to the left of an out of position Thorsten Benscheider, making the score, 4-2. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Thorsten Benscheider didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. 88 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Zeitz came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FK Partizani Tirana booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Zeitz in the 94th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FK Partizani Tirana had played much better football throughout.
