Korkutalp Onkal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melih Şahan in the 46th minute of play. But to his dismay, Abdi Mehmet Kayaer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With 79 minutes on the clock, Mehmet Bedri Sungun commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Korkutalp Onkal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Korkutalp Onkal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Korkutalp Onkal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Sadikköy Erdoğan FK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Orbay Sadir hit a great ball. The Ecuador manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Sadikköy Erdoğan FK to win.
