When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hernan Lehen made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Nippur de Lagash 2's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Vallman came free, but Tito Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nippur de Lagash 2's attentive Benjamin Navarro managed to snatch the ball when Jüri Ääremaa made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. When Genadi Kotrulev came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the ATILA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genadi Kotrulev couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind ATILA's goalkeeper Placido Matro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nippur de Lagash 2's Israel Oliviero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Placido Matro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
