Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) MELATES F.C.'s Akis Stafilas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 6th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luca Espinar hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The supporters of Honduras booed when MELATES F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorotheos Delioridis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vrasidas Plousis hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofoklis Patsavouras having to interfere. Sofoklis Patsavouras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Sofoklis Patsavouras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sofoklis Patsavouras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christos Papakostopoulos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sofoklis Patsavouras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Sofoklis Patsavouras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. In the 36th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sofoklis Patsavouras was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 42 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Moises Tafalla. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Sofoklis Patsavouras. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MELATES F.C. reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Esteban Carvallo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Carvallo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sofoklis Patsavouras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, MELATES F.C.'s Antonis Froussos got a free kick in the 67th minute. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofoklis Patsavouras having to interfere.
