Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ćiro Immobile to make the kick off. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ćiro Immobile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Spvgg München-Lerch. 05 were awarded a corner. Burkhard Seelert went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Spvgg München-Lerch. 05's Burkhard Seelert to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Spvgg München-Lerch. 05's Caspar Allendorf quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Macos Graciani, made in the 69th minute of the game. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Pflügge having to interfere. Ferdinand Pflügge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdinand Pflügge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 84th minute of play. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abdülhak Oyhan hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Ferdinand Pflügge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 94th minute of the match. Mexico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
