Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Gottfrid Brenner took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Sérgio Urbano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LA VIOLA's Sérgio Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after LA VIOLA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of LA VIOLA's goalie and right to Agustín Saelices. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. LA VIOLA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 21st minute Gottfrid Brenner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in LA VIOLA's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Urbano came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play forced LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Sérgio Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Gottfrid Brenner got a free kick in the 25th minute. Sérgio Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Aron Overdal managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA VIOLA's supporters rose to their feet, but Aron Overdal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play forced LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Sérgio Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Sérgio Urbano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 36 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sérgio Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sérgio Urbano. Sérgio Urbano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 45 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Sérgio Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Gottfrid Brenner got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

LA VIOLA's Albert Rutledge was substituted for Aron Overdal. The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jens-Ove Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Sérgio Urbano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Rutledge came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LA VIOLA made a substitution. Osvald Uter replaced Abidin Onar. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Urbano having to make a save. Sérgio Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Sérgio Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. With a little luck, LA VIOLA's Sérgio Urbano got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Urbano having to interfere. Sérgio Urbano made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Mark Kielberg hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Sérgio Urbano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luis Andino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 92 minute of play. Ecuador played a much better game than LA VIOLA and deserved their victory. The LA VIOLA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
