Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Blaauwgeers in the 5th minute of play. Foeke Wisgerhof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Joshua Secada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Joshua Secada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Foeke Wisgerhof breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Steve Hilhorst could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. In the 23rd minute, Albert Atsma made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42ndth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dukaton f.c.'s Foeke Wisgerhof was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th match minute, Dukaton f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Batista to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Coos van Ankeren to strike the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Foeke Wisgerhof took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Lukas Blaauwgeers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dukaton f.c. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 63 minutes, Lukas Blaauwgeers made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Lukas Blaauwgeers made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Coos van Ankeren charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jochem Rijkaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 96th minute of play forced Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper Foeke Wisgerhof to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dukaton f.c..
