Dursun Ali Alp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Lara FK's Dursun Ali Alp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Lara FK from getting a goal against them. If Cesur Kurceren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesur Kurceren in the 53rd minute. Hamdi Uma kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dursun Ali Alp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mansur Yörük could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. The throw-in from Mansur Yörük in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. Kubat Pirane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Alan Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lara FK the free kick. Alan Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Lara FK were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Paraguay's much stronger midfield.
