The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 9 minutes into the match, B68 Toftir's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Beat Leutwyler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes B68 Toftir's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beat Leutwyler having to interfere. In the 24th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beat Leutwyler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye B68 Toftir's goalie prevented a goal. Beat Leutwyler was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-3. 64 minutes into the match, B68 Toftir's goalkeeper Beat Leutwyler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 68th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Beat Leutwyler. The goal made the score 1-4. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Arkādijs Žurka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. B68 Toftir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute.
