Rohan Watson spun around in front of the goal 13 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goal. Jax Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Salah in the 14th minute of the match. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerrold Taranco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Rohan Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Tököli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Salah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jax Williamson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rohan Watson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferenc Tököli was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Rohan Watson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ferenc Tököli made a huge save. Eric Hill charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 47 played minutes, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Joseph Schwarzfischer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jax Williamson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rapsodas Red Devils FC reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koby Wright to make the kick off. Canada's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
