Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zlatko Ibrahimović in the 24th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatko Ibrahimović came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fragleses's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Kim Hänninen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Zlatko Ibrahimović managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fragleses's supporters rose to their feet, but Zlatko Ibrahimović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kim Hänninen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Abram Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axel Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kim Hänninen firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fragleses's Kim Hänninen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 55th minute of play. Kim Hänninen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Fragleses's Adam Zawaski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adam Zawaski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fragleses protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adam Zawaski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. 67 minutes into the game, one of Fragleses:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fragleses's Waldemar Wojtowicz was substituted for Olaf Wojtowicz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joshua Garrido during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, Joshua Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes Fragleses got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Rexino. Kim Hänninen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Indiano to maneuver through the defense. When Abram Secada came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Secada couldn't finish the play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Indiano kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Conrado Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fragleses's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Cardozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
