In the 11th minute, Isidro De Gavardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Nibiru X's Darío Friederichs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro De Gavardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nibiru X's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Renato Kilpatrick in the 24th minute. Darío Friederichs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidro De Gavardo to make the kick off. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Darío Friederichs made a huge save. Peru were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Nibiru X's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Milagros Fraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Caviedes in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Román Grebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Román Grebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 77 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Armando Faine came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Nibiru X's goalkeeper Darío Friederichs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Román Grebe in the 96th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Nibiru X support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
