Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valdo Toscano kicked off to start the match. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valdo Toscano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Mané Netto came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Netto having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mané Netto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Mané Netto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Mané Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Valdo Toscano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Mané Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdo Toscano in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Valdo Toscano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 48th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mané Netto quite easily take care of the ball. Mané Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Arias in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mané Netto could save by the left post. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute. Cristian Sancho made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that 20 de Abril's Mané Netto managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Eduardo Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mané Netto. Mané Netto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. 95 minutes into the match, 20 de Abril's goalkeeper Mané Netto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita.
