Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Gaona made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joar Frisck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC NORDLAND's goalkeeper Joar Frisck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joar Frisck having to make a save. 16 minutes into the game, Rhys Hughes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC NORDLAND's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. A collision led to FC NORDLAND getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rhys Hughes hit a great ball. FC NORDLAND's Alex Hernaiz got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC NORDLAND's Christof Mehlbaum got a free kick in the 24th minute. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelillo Di Maria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC NORDLAND's Alex Hernaiz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to FC NORDLAND getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Rhys Hughes hit a great ball. Joar Frisck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 36 played minutes FC NORDLAND got a freekick which was hit by Rhys Hughes. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Hernaiz in the 43rd minute of the match. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joar Frisck having to interfere. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan Vides's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelillo Di Maria to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Rhys Hughes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC NORDLAND getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Alan Vides hit a great ball. Facundo Cadaval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joar Frisck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 66th minute of play. Joar Frisck came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Luca Zorita. But to his dismay, Luca Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 69th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Frisck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Angelillo Di Maria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. After some careless play in the FC NORDLAND defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joar Frisck. The FC NORDLAND fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joar Frisck should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andreas Hernaiz. In the 84th minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Angelillo Di Maria suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorenzo Cazalla during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC NORDLAND booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bautista Baumgartner in the 93rd minute. In the 96th match minute, FC NORDLAND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rhys Hughes to maneuver through the defense. Mexico were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC NORDLAND for a fine match.
