Parque Europa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Reyes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 6 minutes into the match, Parque Europa FC's Froilan Reyes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Froilan Reyes in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, Parque Europa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Luis Täger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Ryynänen kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Parque Europa FC's Froilan Reyes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 17th minute of the match Parque Europa FC got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Froilan Reyes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luis Täger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luis Täger, 1-1. Luis Täger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Froilan Reyes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Froilan Reyes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Reyes in the 42nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes of play, Parque Europa FC's Froilan Reyes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 46th minute of play forced Parque Europa FC's goalkeeper Luis Täger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Colombia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Parque Europa FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Reyes in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Parque Europa FC made a substitution. Lionel-Andrés Messi replaced Saul Gomesano. In the 62nd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Täger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coronel Castro in the 69th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Coronel Castro sent off a good shot on target. Luis Täger came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Santino Seco. But to his dismay, Santino Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After some careless play in the Parque Europa FC defense, Abram Secada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Täger. The Parque Europa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Täger should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Coronel Castro came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coronel Castro in the 84th minute of the match. Lionel-Andrés Messi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Wojciech Krzynowek hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Colombia could leave the field as winners, despite Parque Europa FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
