If Guaberto Chucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Echesortu Football Club's Marcelino Liberto was substituted for Joško Gvardiol. Echesortu Football Club's Amado Bermudo was substituted for Efrain Bingen. 68 minutes into the match, Amado Bermudo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amado Bermudo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to Echesortu Football Club getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Timoteo Erramu hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Chucho came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Sanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
