Sofyane Valognes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 32nd minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Flavian Garcon made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 85th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Tomas Berganza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sofyane Valognes. The goal made the score 1-4. Panama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
