Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Isaac Cazorla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes Valleslona F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. In the 14th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Cazorla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Valleslona F.C.'s Xines Saboya got a free kick in the 20th minute. Valleslona F.C.'s Isaac Cazorla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaac Cazorla saved Valleslona F.C. from getting behind. Isaac Cazorla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute. In the 30th play minute Tomas Illescas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Isaac Cazorla. 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Cazorla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Valleslona F.C.'s goalkeeper Isaac Cazorla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dani Olmo to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Gaston Palanques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Venezuela's Patricio Costa in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valleslona F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. If Dani Olmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68th play minutes Tomas Illescas shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Isaac Cazorla and just under the crossbar into goal. Valleslona F.C.'s Isaac Cazorla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Valleslona F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Isaac Cazorla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Cazorla was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 84 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Valleslona F.C.'s Isaac Cazorla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th match minute, Valleslona F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xines Saboya to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Valleslona F.C. defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac Cazorla. The Valleslona F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Cazorla should have stopped the shot. In the 90th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
