Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Picanya FC's Henric Villaquiran started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaskon Gimeno. In the 8th minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gaskon Gimeno fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Naldo Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes Picanya FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldovino Saura. In the 15th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute. Cristian Sancho was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henric Villaquiran in the 34th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henric Villaquiran's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Desiderio Elias kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Desiderio Elias hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 60th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Naldo Roig despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Gregory Bermejo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henric Villaquiran in the 68th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68thth minute of the game Henric Villaquiran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaskon Gimeno in the 73rd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henric Villaquiran in the 74th minute of play. Picanya FC's Naldo Roig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Picanya FC from getting a goal against them. Picanya FC's Jonathan Reina was substituted for Henric Villaquiran. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Naldo Roig made a huge save. With a little luck, Picanya FC's Naldo Roig got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Picanya FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Desiderio Elias hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Reina, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Kiko Verdaguer hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Roig having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Elias in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th match minute, Picanya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Verdaguer to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
