Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Kazimierz Birkenhagen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, NDVX's Kazimierz Birkenhagen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Du showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kazimierz Birkenhagen in the 8th minute. Du showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 20th minute of play forced NDVX's goalkeeper Du to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Du. NDVX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 29 minutes into the game, Carlos Bento lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Julio Vera. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for NDVX! Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Bento in the 42nd minute of play. Ecuador were furious when Camilo Gisbert was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 48 minutes into the match, Kazimierz Birkenhagen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kazimierz Birkenhagen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 54th minute Kazimierz Birkenhagen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Du in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Birkenhagen in the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita made in the 66th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Agustín Saelices. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Bento in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Birkenhagen, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Du tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kazimierz Birkenhagen scored 4-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the match, NDVX's goalkeeper Du had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. After 80 minutes NDVX's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Luis Andinos short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Du to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 83 minutes into the match, NDVX's Kazimierz Birkenhagen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Du made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 5-1 came in the 88th minute when Kazimierz Birkenhagen all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Du came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. In the 96th minute, Kazimierz Birkenhagen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NDVX fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. The NDVX players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
