FC NORDLAND's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Hernaiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 53 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC NORDLAND the free kick. The supporters of FC NORDLAND booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joar Frisck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joar Frisck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Joar Frisck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 62nd minute of play. Mexico were furious when Felix Luque was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mexico! Andreas Hernaiz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Frisck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, FC NORDLAND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robben Romero to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rhys Hughes in the 73rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rhys Hughes got free with Dante Lacasa in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mexico were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
