But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rikhard Elomo couldn't finish the play. Toni Fabich had several of the El Salvador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Ricardo Zorita as he didn't even see the shot coming. 70 minutes in the game, Toni Fabich fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Rikhard Elomo took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Mateo Leguizamo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rikhard Elomo during the 74th minute. The corner led Palloketut's Ali Ruohiainen to fire away a dangerous shot which Ricardo Zorita despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Heino Helkamo might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heino Helkamo ran back to his position shaking his head. Rikhard Elomo struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palloketut. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Fabich in the 92nd minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Palloketut booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentino Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palloketut made a substitution. Hermenegildo Parente replaced Tommi Kangasmäki. After 97 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Valentino Ferrant. 98 minutes into the match, Ali Ruohiainen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita, 0-8. Palloketut's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
