AS Fonte Nuova's Enzo Bardella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, AS Fonte Nuova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beppe Nasuti to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Bardella having to make a save. Enzo Bardella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. If Denny Kok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 32 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enzo Bardella was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavio Corrente's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Corrente helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes AS Fonte Nuova got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Corrente. AS Fonte Nuova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 47 played minutes AS Fonte Nuova got a freekick which was hit by Florian Flocco. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Beppe Nasuti hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Enzo Bardella but with some difficulty. Enzo Bardella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Enzo Bardella was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 56 minute of play. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. AS Fonte Nuova's Alessio Aversa was substituted for Corrado Micucci. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Enzo Bardella saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in AS Fonte Nuova's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Bardella came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, AS Fonte Nuova's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Enzo Bardella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes AS Fonte Nuova got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Costantino. A collision led to AS Fonte Nuova getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Beppe Nasuti hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alessio Aversa hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enzo Bardella. AS Fonte Nuova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Enzo Bardella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 97th minute of play. The AS Fonte Nuova fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
